General Policy on Payments and Refunds for Treatments Not Carried Out

In accordance with current consumer protection legislation, and in order to ensure clear and professional management of the treatments offered at our dental clinic, the following refund policy is established and applies to all patients:

Advance Payment and Acceptance of Treatment

All treatments accepted by the patient must be paid for in advance, before any clinical and technical work begins, as an essential condition for starting planning, clinical delivery and coordination with the dental laboratory.
Acceptance of the treatment plan and the corresponding payment constitute the patient’s express authorisation to begin its clinical and technical stages.

Prosthetic Treatments (fixed, removable, implant-supported, etc.)

Given the bespoke, non-reusable nature of dental prostheses made to measure for each patient, once the taking of clinical records has begun (impressions, scans, registrations or photographs required to produce the prosthetic work), no refunds will be issued for payments made, even if the treatment is not completed for reasons beyond the clinic’s control.

Cancellations Before Records Are Taken

If the patient, of their own decision, chooses not to continue with the treatment before the clinical records stage has begun, a refund of the amount paid may be considered, deducting where applicable any administrative, diagnostic or consultation costs already incurred.

Non‑Prosthetic Treatments

For all other treatments not related to prostheses, the same general policy applies: payments for treatments that have not started may be refunded at the patient’s request, provided that no clinical procedures have been carried out and no costs have been incurred by the clinic.

Exceptional Cases

Any exceptional case or request outside this policy will be reviewed by the clinic’s medical management, who may request the documentation necessary to make an appropriate decision, based on clinical, ethical and contractual criteria.
